I recently came across a VA related question about how long it will take to buy a short sale. I get this good general question about short sales all the time, but it's nice to see the flavor a VA or military perspective. I even commented on it to agree that short sales are a lot of work, but at the same time I like short sales for VA home buyers because of the deals they are getting in San Diego real estate. This is especially true of East Chula Vista like Sunbow real estate, Otay Ranch real estate, Eastlake real estate, San Miguel Ranch real estate, and other communities. Just count the windshields of how many military base stickers we have in those areas (mostly red/green/white colors but with the occassional blue [salute] ) When VA loan programs are the best deal in town with ZERO down-payment and lower closing cost requirements, I could bet you more than 85% of those homes are VA.
